One of the challenges to good nutrition is the lack of electricity, which makes it difficult to keep healthy foods such as fruit, milk and yoghurt fresh. This inspired an initiative to install standalone solar power systems at the school to run a small fridge and a printer for educational materials.

A volunteer, Gal·la Schumacher Casas, is building a homemade solar power system to show local communities how it works and how useful it can be. We need to raise funds to bring this initiative to our school projects.

Here is the link to Gal·la’s crowdfunding campaign.
